I have planned a trip to fan fair and I am waiting for the party info to finish plans. I am only going this year for this party so I really need to get in! Please let me know if there are people getting them. Thanks for all of the great info. |

We sent the newsletters out bulk rate, but have "address correction" and "return postage guaranteed" so we will know who doesn't get theirs and we can contact them and send another one. We had quite a few who said they didn't get their last one, so we wanted to make sure everyone gets theirs this time. |

Looks like there might not be any Hoosiers at the fanclub party :O( Still waiting over here in Northwest Indiana, no sign of a newsletter yet!!! I do have a question, how will we know if we are one of the lucky 300? Well I'm pretty depressed...I figured if I don't have my newsletter by Saturday my chances of gettin to the fanclub party are slim to none :O( |

Haven't received mine yet in Pittsburgh, PA as of Thursday. Hey, TyChrisFan02, my folks used to have a place just about two miles off of Route 422 on 403N. You familiar with the old Slagle Farm? That was my uncle's parent's place. Used to know that whole area really well when I was a kid back in the early 70's! |

Sorry to say this but I am glad to see I am not the only one who still hasn't gotten the newsletter...I won't go any further because I am just sick about this...there were only 2 reasons of going to Nashville for me and my sister-in-law and that was keith urban (already got in for fanclub party) and Chris and it looks like no hope of that :O( I'm totally upset, just sick...it is gonna make for a pretty sad trip |

I live in Nashville and have yet to receive my news letter. I was thinking that maybe the further away you are the sooner you'll receive the news letter b/c that way when we all send our request in they will get there around the same time so the chances of going to the party are greater for the cagleheads that aren't close to nashville. I hope this makes us all feel better!!! |

I've tried to keep quiet about this topic but can't do it anymore. So here's my two cents worth. LISTEN UP! Once Molly puts the newsletters in the mail it's OUT OF HER HANDS and in the government's! I am sure she puts them all in the mail at the same time.I have yet to see my newsletter, but I am not whining about it because I know there is nothing that can be done about it. Do you guys realize how you must be making Molly feel by all this griping and complaining? I'm sure it's not a happy feeling.An appreciated feeling. You want to know the motto of the government? I worked for them for a few years and my hubby worked for them for over 24....it's HURRY UP AND WAIT! You want your newsletter before anyone else or in a timely fashion? Go to where they are sorting them and help, then pick your's up when you are done. I'm sure they wouldn't mind the help one bit! Bulk mail is not priority number one in the USPS's eyes. And if she sent them first class it would cost well over $1500 everytime a newsletter came out. Think about it, not cost effective for a fan club that is working on a budget of zero! And Molly and the rest do not get paid for the work they do. I hope I've made myself clear on this one. |

salsa ,you have made your point....but as i said before..i dont "get" the bulk mail system and i do not think it is fair that some get their newsletters weeks ahead. BUT, i understand that is out of molly's hands...i just thought it would be a bit more fair if ,when there is time sensitive material enclosed (like the party invite),the newsletters are sent outt he next step above bulk rate. i am not saying they should go out priority or next day air...but just in a way that everyone would get theirs at approximatley the SAME time..i know there is no "for sure" that everyone will get theirs the same DAY..but it might be a bit closer than with the bulk rate.we DO pay our membership dues...i know that some of those fees go to running the club, and shipping etc. i just think if there are things that need to be sent in, in a timely manner, the letter could get sent non-bulk mail. i am still waiting for mine, as is my friend who is ready to shell out 100 bucks so we get in to the party. we would just hate to be #'s 301 and 302 who get our money in, and have it sent right back! just my thought... |

ok, I told myself I WAS NOT posting 'cuz of an incident a few weeks ago. but this one I had to reply. (if only I could type!!) I am only 3 1/2 hours north of Nashville and haven't gotten mine yet. I'm really hoping it comes. The hubby said I could go to fan fair!! Can you believe it? How neat is that? To think,...a whole day with out the kids!! hmmm... But that's not surprising that I haven't gotten it or some of the rest of you haven't received yours yet. My father sent me something at the beginning of March some 6 weeks ago, and I still haven't received it!!! And it only had to travel 100 miles from back home to my place. Needless to say I am not hapy w/ the postal system and to think they keep wanting to raise rates. Go figure???!!! Has me very puzzled. later, Cagle on and Play it Loud!! |

( I in no way mean to mock anyone who hasnt gotten their letters who CAN go to Fan fair) But you better beleive when I go next year, Theres gunna be at least 20 new Riviera, Texas Cagledheads cuz I AM gunna go to Fan fair next year and Molly said the only solution: Rally more peeps in our zipcode. Hey guys its not a bad idea.... $20 is not to much...Just tell your friends to join... Or for a b-day gift just sign 'em up and think: Thats 9 more to go before you'll be on your way to faster mail. To the response about the newsletters.....mail is mail and we should all be getting them around the same time.....I can't believe that the Nashville people have NOT gotten theirs....that's rediculous in my opinion....I just hope I get mine before it fills up. Cagle boy, If I'm not mistaken the newsletters come out of Baytown, TX not Nashville. And it should be that all mail comes to you within a few days but that is not the case with bulk mail. I get a newsletter from a place 20 minutes from my house and it can take up to 3 WEEKS to get it to me. Why? I'm not sure, but I think it may have to do with the amount of bulk mail going to my zipcode from their zipcode. I don't know for sure. But that is the way the mail system is run. Bulk mail goes behind priority and first class, etc. |

I'm here in Washington State and haven't received my newsletter either, no complaints though, just thankful that we have such wonderful people who spend THEIR OWN extra time to do this for US. Just a hint about the mail system, my kids just received their Valentines Day cards from their great grandma in Alaska last week, go figure, and they were postmarked the week of Valentines Day :0) |

I live in Iowa and I still havent gotten my newsletter either,(and just for the record I'm not complaining) Since I'm not going to fan fair it isnt a big deal to me but I could see where it would be frustrating. Its my luck recently that I will probably be the last one to receive it since I dont think that there are too many people here in my zip code. |

Still waiting in Columbus, maybe today...People, don't sweat it, I'm sure by the time you receive your letter, there won't have been 300 people who have already sent in their money. I've seen more people post and say that can't go to the fanclub party than those who can. However, I now have a reason to be excited to stop and check the mail!!! still nothing yet here in the mail box. I just don't understand why this happens. Unless they sent out the ones farthest away first b4 those of us that are closer. My counter person at my post office asked me if I ever got my missing letter and I told him no. He said there have been alot of things not getting where they should be. I couldn't believe HE said this. And by the way our rates go up June 30th here. not sure if that is for us or the whole U.S. Just leave it in the Good Lords hands and He will get it to us with no problems. They just HAVE to show up. maybe today. oh well, still patiently waiting....uuuoohhhh (sigh) Think I'll just go sit outside w/ my Caglerita and wait. Heck I do the waiting anyway. That's the highlight of my day...getting the mail so I have something to fill the trash can to help keep the trash collector guys working. Later... |

I just wanted to take a moment to thank everyone for responding with the info on when you have received the newsletter and what part of the country you are from. I also wanted to thank Salsamaker real quick on her post. I started this topic because Marian asked me if I could help her & Molly with keeping track of when the newsletters were received in different parts of the US. I didn't want there to be any problems with people worrying about when they got them. I know we all are very anxious to get them because of the party but like some have said before it is out of Molly & Marian's hands. It is up to the postal service now. I have not received mine either and even though I am anxious to receive it I don't feel it is anyone's fault.
