All the red-eye flights were worth seeing him live and I was so sad I couldn't make it to Nashville this week, but YES I taped it (even paused out the commercials! LOL) and YES I was crying too!! Congrats to Chris!!!! And one large pat on the back for all of the Cagleheads who voted. We did it!!! My throat still hurts from the screaming I did when they announced that Chris was the winner. I wore one of my Chris Cagle shirts to work last night (I work third shift) and a few people stopped and asked me who was the guy on my shirt. I took great pleasure in telling them who Chris was. A few of them even knew some of Chris' songs. Maybe now Chris will get the recognition he deserves. |

Congratulations Chris!! I was another Caglehead with tears in my eyes when they announced winner. It was also my sisters birthday, so we decided that was her present from Chris. He was so emotional and to tell his wife and HIS kids that he loved them made it so great. Congratulations to Chris and all Cagleheads - we did it! |

Another Caglehead here who was sooooo thrilled for Chris! My little six-year-old girl was so excited too, we were jumping up and down, woke the baby (whoops!)...I still think he should have won the ACM but that's another story!
