I have 3 tickets available for Portage County Fair on Sun Aug. 25th. They are 7th row. We are not going due to the new meet and greet policy. |

Do you still have these tickets? I have 3 in the 12th row - I will take these though and try to sell the others. Why is everyone giving up because of the new Meet & Greet policy. I thought April said that if you are going to a fair that you didn't need to use your meet & greets, that there was some kind of autograph party afterwards for ALL fans. Am I wrong about this? Someone please help me to understand if this is incorrect? Thx*caroline |

I would also like to know the answer to that question about using M&G at the fair shows. I am planning on seeing Chris at 2 fairs.....do I need to use my M&G or not? Any info. will be helpful. Thanks. |

The way I understand it is this......Chris normally has an autograph session after the concerts so the fans can get a pic taken with him and have a thing or two signed by him. It's similar to a M&G except it is open to everyone, therefore the line is much longer. I have been to one concert, at TFT and so I am NOT qualified to speak on my own experience. I hope this helps you guys out. Now there are exceptions to this rule I am sure, such as planes needing to be caught, his road manager isn't with him, needing to get to a radio station within an hour of the concert ending, etc. If I'm mistaken, I am sure that someone will correct me and make sure it's understandable. Am I making any sense here? LOL |

If he has a session afterwards, which he usually does. We spent about an hour waiting to see him after the TFT concert. Am I right ladies? There were 1400 people there for the concert, to give you an idea. We made sure we were the last in line to see him, but we were having too much fun talking, lookin at pics from the event to worry about the time. It gave us a chance to sit and chat face to face with other Cagleheads. LOL I MISS MY APRIL, SAMI (and Dana), BECKI (BTW where is that woman haven't seen her on here in ages), MARY (hope to see you soon- wink wink), KIMMI (another MIA), MAE and ERIN!!!! |

BTW not everyone stayed to talk with him after the concert. We spent about 45 seconds each with him, but we were all together so it was about 5-6 minutes or so just chattin with him and gettin pics, etc. |

I really hope he takes the time to meet all of us. I would hate to drive 2 1/2 hours to see him & stand in line for another hour & not be able to meet him. This is going to be my only chance. I know what you guys say about how he loves to spend time with his fans, but if he has to go, he has to go. Thx*caroline |

Thanks everyone for repying to me. I didn't realize that you could probably meet Chris after the concert. My birthday is Aug 21st and the tickets were supposed to be for my birthday. I am also getting a digital camera from my parents because they know how much I love to take pictures of Chris =) I sold one of my tickets but the more I've thought about it I've decided to go to the Portage country fair and use the other two tickets. I thought I would take a chance and hopefully get to see him. Chris after all is worth it and if I don't get to see him again at least I get to see a really awesome show =) I missed the beginning of his show on July 20th because I had heat exhaustion and then we left right after the performance, so I only saw the last few songs. |

Hey Everyone!! I was at the Portage County show last year and I was very surprised that Chris stayed after the show to sign autographs and get pics for ALL the fans. I believe April did say that this is usually how the fair shows work. I know there was a huge line at last years show and Chris stayed till everyone was thru the line. I know they are expecting a larger turnout this year since they added a lot more seats on the track, so hopefully the fans that are not able to do a M&G will still get a chance to meet Chris. For all of you going to this show I will see you there! I also have 7th row seats!! Whoo Hooo!! Cant wait till August 25th. PLAY IT LOUD!!!! Tina |
