I have to tell you guys though. I just read that post about the angel... After I'd been on my trip for a week, my niece (who was watching my daughter during the day) called first thing in the morning, said my daughter misses her mommy bad. My little 4 year old gets on the phone crying "I miss you SO MUCH mommy! When you coming home? I love you!" She asked when I'd be home and I said a few days yet and she goes "Can I come down there?" I told her it was 3000 miles, she couldn't come that far. She said "Uh huh, I'll get on a plane and fly down there where you are! You can pick me up at the airport." She cried and cried, so I cried and cried. Little kids, aren't they so precious? This was our first time being apart for more than 2 days! It was 2 weeks! She was looking at the USA Atlas every day to see what state we were in as we traveled from Denver to Ohio and back again, then north thru Canada back home.

So when I finally got home, I called her daddy and said I was here! He told her they were going to the store but instead he drove her to my house. I had called her that morning to say I was in Alaska and she laughs and says "I know I know I KNOW!" So when she walked up the steps to the house, I opened the door and she just stood there staring at me, mouth open... said "Hi mommy" in a really small voice then she threw her arms around me and wouldn't let go. Dang I'm glad to be home!!!

So when Chris came on CMT, she goes "Mommy, it's your boyfriend!!!" HEE HEE HEE! Just like old times! Where there's a will, there's a way! I'm a-coming back down south to find a Chris concert, mark my words! LOOK OUT BELOW!!! BUNZAI IS IN THE HOUSE... mini-me in tow! ROFL {splat}

DOES IT FEEL GOOD TO BE HOME IN YOUR OWN BED? I BET IT WOULD. AND YOUR DAUGHTER FEELS BETTER KNOWING YOU'RE BACK TOO. I CAN JUST PICTURE HER....EYES WIDE OPEN, MOUTH GAPPED... GREAT VISUAL THERE.
