From GAC: Chris Cagle has remained a fan of bucking bull riding since he was 11 years old. Chris was really into riding them in youth rodeos, that is, until one of them kicked him in the kidney. "When I was 11, I was completely eaten up with it," Cagle explains. "We put up a bull riding machine in the backyard and practiced and practiced 'til we could kinda stay on. I wanted to be part of the whole youth rodeo thing, and so that was how I was going to get good enough to be able to do it." Never happened, "I got a young bull that just sorta turned as I was getting bucked off... kicked me in the kidney and bruised me up. That was all my mother had to see. She took one look at that and said, 'You won't be riding bulls until you're 18...' "I can't say that I'd ever done what (those cowboys) have, but I got a taste. Once you do, you really respect what they do. Bull riders are the guys who say 'Oh, yeah...' and wanna do the impossible. It's the coolest thing ever, and I love to watch 'em."
