Was curious what the opinion of you all would be for Joe Nichols? His video/single out right now is "The Impossible."
Normally I wouldn't take the spotlight away from the most gorgeous Chris, but Joe is from Arkansas, two towns up from where I live, and he happens to be a cousin to one of the girls I go out on the town with. Let me know!!! I'd love to tell his family some of your reactions.

From the first time I heard "The Impossible" I loved it! I also cried...cause it reminds me of my gramps. He's not here with me anymore but I know that he's in Heaven watching us with God! I think he's great! Juliana

Hey Everyone!
Well, when he was out with a CD five years ago I loved his music and just kept his name in the back of my mind cause I liked everything he sang. It is great to hear music of his on the radio again and plus he is from the same town my grandparents lived in. :-) Just curious....anyone want to take a guess on this trivia question about him..??? Well here it is:
Joe Nichols current single is "The Impossible," but what was his very first single he ever released? If someone guesses it, I will let you know.
Anyways, he is one artist that I do really like (like Chris there aren't that many that I truly enjoy their music so it is definitely a compliment to both Chris and Joe). I hope he does get the chance he deserves.

To answer Kimmy's Question, I think it's "Six of one, Half a Dozen of the Other"

Jennifer:
You're right!!! I sent that same question to MWL and haven't seen if they have used it yet...I was hoping they would use it once he released the video or when he was there. Who knows...glad someone else knew the answer...everyone I seem to ask doesn't seem to know it - maybe I am just asking the wrong people. lol.

"Six of One" was released in '96 from Joe's self titled album on Intersound. It went top 40, the video was #1 on CMT for a week. Giant signed him after Intersound closed, then they closed, so Warner Bros. picked him up. They let him go because they had too many artists, so now he's got a nice lil home at Universal South. And as the first official Joe-Mama, I am proud to say that my babies (Joe and Brian) have opened for SHe-Daisy, Dwight Yoakam, and Deana Carter.
"The Impossible" is at number 28 on Billboard, and in the top 30 of many other charts. 'Man With A Memory' will becoming out on July 23 (I've heard it, and I'm glad to say that it's REAL country music!!). Joe will be playing at the City of Hope celebrity softball game at Fan Fair... and he might be making a private appearance at the Wildhorse later that afternoon for a party (yes April, I am laying a guilt trip on him because he deserves it!!)
And I have dusted off the WebGoddess crown and am now WebGoddess of Joe's fan site, Joe's Joint, which can be found at either http://joenichols.fanclub.ms or at http://www.angelfire.com/music4/joenichols. The Universal South site can be found at http://www.joenicholsonline.com.
A special HEY THERE to all the original Joe-Mamas!! :-)

The first time I heard this song I was sitting on the porch with my dad and I couldn't help but cry. I love my dad so much. And all through 12 years I've never seen him cry 'til my mom left. That song was real reflective. I like it alot!! He's gonna go far. Sammie
