Cagle A Double Winner -- Chris Cagle, former caddy, led his team to victory at Monday's Academy of Country Music Golf Tournament to benefit the TJ Martell Foundation. "It was fun and we had a blast," says Cagle of his win at Des Bells Golf Course in Burbank. But it was Lone Star legend Willie Nelson who made Cagle feel like the big winner over the weekend. Both played KZLA's listener appreciation show, entertaining LA country fans. "You look over, and there's Willie Nelson. You look at that face, you think about what he's done -- and, well, your knees just shake. Or at least mine did." Cagle debuted his "What A Beautiful Day" over the weekend to great crowd response. The single is being rushed to radio now for a Nov. 11 add date. ~Jennifer |
