Are there any country stations out of NY anymore? I used to have one programed into my radio but one morning it just started playing SALSA! Anyway I'm in Monmouth County and can't get the South Jersey station in. I want to do my part too on Nov.11th.

Hi, What part of Monmouth County do you live in? Obviously we come in better in the southern part of the county. And yes, we just added Chris Cagle's new "What A Beautiful Day" after it went 5 nights in a row in our Cat Fight. -Chris Afternoon guy, WPUR Cat Country 107.3/Atlantic City www.catcountry1073.com

Hey thanks I found the web site for Y107. I work in Holmdel but live in Point Pleasant. I can get you in in some areas but lose you alot. maybe my car radio stinks.

Hello,, no there are no more stations in ny.. I live in Staten Island, and Y107 was changed to a spanish station now, although the web site still exists. The only thing i can get (and it's really bad) is on 1070AM Sterling Country. I wish we had others!!!!

XTU is the only one that I can think of that's the least bit close... and it's the only one out of Philly. There are a few more in the state, but nothing a NJ resident would be able to get since I can't even get them here! However, XTU is really slow playing new stuff... it'll be way after 11/11 before you hear Chris's new song.

Bad news... WKMB-AM 1070 was recently sold and it will be flipping to a religious format in the near future.

For those of you in North Jersey - Last year sometime, Y107 went to Spanish. Don't know why....
But, if you can't get 92.5 XTU (Philly) in, there's a really good chance you can get Cat County 96.1 in. It's based in Allentown, and also broadcasts in the Pocono and north PA area. A couple of my friends work and live up near Holmdel and Newark, and they get Cat County pretty good.
Hope this helps! *Heather

Boy am I glad I'm not alone in this! I did a test study on my way home from work and found that once I got out of the range of the old y107 frequency, 107.3 came in loud and clear. Unfortunatly I was almost pulling in my driveway. Well at least I can get it at home. You would think that a city as diversified as NYC would have a country station. What the heck is "Urban" music anyway?
