Divers Do It Deeper
-- While we shiver and shake, Chris Cagle is diving in the the balmy Cayman Islands. Having met the deadlines for mastering his new self-titled album, the Baytown, Texan jumped on a flight with scuba gear from Aqua Lung, Jacques Cousteau's noted underwater sporting goods company.
"They were so nice," says Cagle, "they got me all hooked up, they said, because of how much I love and promote diving."
Though the waters have been unseasonably cold and choppy (below 70 degrees), Cagle's still had two dives -- and was hoping to be back in the water yesterday.
'Chris Cagle' will be on the streets March 11. "Whatta Beautiful Day" continues its climb up the chart following the holiday freeze - and the accompanying video should be on its way to CMT any day.

I thought that the new album was going to be titled "Louder"? The articles says that the album is self-titled.

Yes, the new album will be self titled. Chris told me that a possibility down the road is a live album entitled "Live and Louder". Wouldn't that be great!

Here's another little blurb from www.cmt.com about his trip... Cagle in the Caymans Chris Cagle is vacationing in the Cayman Islands now that he’s finished recording his upcoming album due March 11. "There's something about the feeling of being underwater," Cagle says. "There's so much pressure on your body underwater, it's a surreal feeling -- like being weightless, but not really. I wanna lay on the bottom of the ocean this trip and see if I can see the clouds. That's how clear the water is down there. I know it sounds crazy, but you can." 1/8/03

Cagle did a half hour interview on Rooster 101 and premiered the 2nd cut from his sophomore CD "Chris Cagle". The station was the first broadcast of Cagle's single, "Chicks Dig It." Thought I would share with you. Can't wait to hear that single. "Chicks Do Dig Cagle" LOL Have a great weekend.

I just wish that the radio stations around my area would play WABD! I have only heard it once and Toby Keith's Who's Your Daddy kept cutting in! Bummer! Thanks to a very "GOOD" friend I have WABD on CD with other "great" artists that I can put in my CD player and listen to my heart's content (NO INTERRUPTIONS!)

Chris did get in some more dives and loved every minute of it. He is an amazing man, very considerate and just let me say that we are in such a treat with this new CD. I loved every song on the whole CD and there's a story behind every song. I had the absolute pleasure of hanging out with him a couple of evenings while my hubby and I were holidaying in Grand Cayman. It was a real highlight of our trip. Thanks Chris!!
