Hi there...

While Capitol is responsible in promoting Chris' album, GAC probably picks which CD's they put on their list unless it is a total list of everything coming out - then there is a problem. If that is the case, then yes Capitol needs to start promoting it now. I do know Tower still doesn't have it on their website (if it is more than two months from the release date, then you have to search the title of the new albium and if they have it listed, then it will find it).

I do know though that Chris wants to get it out on March 11 and I am sure Capitol is trying to meet that as well since they are the ones who have to approve all the music, then together with Chris have to approve the cover art (hopefully that is already done), and then show one final product to chris and his label for final approval and then produce, distribute, and promote everything just in time for the release date. I am sure Chris is going to try everything in his power to make sure that his sophomore album is finished and released on March 11.

But I do have an idea - Why don't all of us start promoting it now...Email GAC about it - tell them all the details we know and request them to promote it on their website...tell everyone you know about it...either way Chris is going to get a lot of attention for his sophomore album I am sure.

Hi Krista, Welcome to Cagleville! GAC is Great American Country, which is similar to CMT (Country Music Television). Some people get CMT and not GAC and vice versa! Hope that helps. Tina
