Hi Guys! I am on a campaign to get CBTGOG played here in Cincinnait on B105. They tell me that they have the single but it has not yet been added to their playlist. I have been told to be patient, but I can't stand the wait anymore!! LOL! So, here's where I need your help... On Fridays they have what they call the 'Top Five at Five' which is when they play the top five requested songs of the week. So, I figure if CBTGOG is one of the top five songs requested between now and Friday, they will HAVE to play it!!!!! So, HELP!!!!!! Could you take just a few minutes at least once between now and Friday to send an email request. Duke Hamilton is an awesome DJ and he has been so sweet to me regarding my Chris requests. So, please send him a (nice) email at [email protected] and ask him to play CBTGOG. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! from your Cincy Caglehead! P.S. I'll keep you posted on what happens Friday. |

I thought I would also share with you guys the latest email I sent to Duke. Think this might get some airplay for CBTGOG??? LOL!!! Hi Duke! I need you to imagine that there is 'something awesome' that you want and you know Christmas is coming and your wonderful wife is going to get it for you. The anticipation is awful, but finally it is Christmas morning. When you get out of bed, lo and behold, there under the Christmas tree is the package. You know it contains your 'something awesome' and can't wait to open it! BUT, when your wife gets up she decides she isn't ready to open gifts yet. In fact, that day goes by and another and she still isn't ready to open gifts. The anticipation is killing you, but you know it is her gift so you have no power over when you actually get it even though it is sitting right there in front of you. Every now and then you ask her if she knows when she is going to be ready to open gifts. But you try not to ask too often, because you don't want to be a 'pain'. By now, two weeks have gone by and you are still asking yourself, "Is it Christmas yet?" That's what you guys are doing to me!!! :-) I know 'Country by the Grace of God' (my 'something awesome') is sitting in your studio, but you guys aren't ready to 'open gifts' yet. It is just KILLING me to know it is there, but I just can't have it yet because you are in control of it. And, I am trying really hard not to ask too often, but..... IS IT CHRISTMAS YET??????? |

Hey AnastaSia! I just love that!!!!!!!!!LOL! You can bet I will email Duke, he sounds so AWEOSOME! It is played pretty well up here in Akron except for one dj and doesn't it figure that is the dj that is on in the evenings when I can listen. If you guys could email from 7:00P.M. thru midnight weeknights and request it that would help I think. The website is wqmx.com and on the front page is where you can send equests. We need to focus on Duke. I talked to Doc and he said if we can get Duke to put it in the studio Doc will play it. I have a plan though...will update you tomorrow. |

Thanks Anastacia...I sent that in at like 430 that morning. But what is better is the prize. I laughed my butt off for 30 min. When I called in to see what I'd won, Amanda answered the phone. She asked me if I still worked where I did when I was there for Studio B and I said yes and asked her why. Well she asked because I work at Costco and I won a year membership to Sam's Club. It is too funny. I haven't set the plan into motion yet, but I will soon. Peg |
