Due to the somberness, I think, of 911 and other hard times people on this MB have been thru, Cagle Island was created. One day I was sitting at home and for the first time in my life I couldn't pay my mortgage and/or other bills. I sat in front of my computer and cried... drank a half bottle of wine and asked WHERE IS EVERYBODY here on the MB late at night. It was only 9:00 my time but midnight in Texas and 1:00 am on the east coast. Out of my despair, some silliness emerged. I took the "get away from life and listen to Cagle" concept, turned it into Cagle Island and created a real make-believe place for all of us to go when we need a Caglefix or an escape from our problems.

Over time, Cagle Island has evolved. Mostly it's just an island with year-round sunshine, a pool, the beach, Cabanaboys, Chris Cagle clones, mini-Chris cubes (ice cubes with Chris' mini-me inside) usually floating in our Cagleritas (Cagle margaritas) or sodas, a Cagle mansion with anything and everything in it including fluffy pillows. We can be anything we want to be there: tall, short, blonde, brunette, shaped like a mini-me, rich, famous, married to a Chris-clone, whatever. The pudding balloons are a little out there but it's kinda like a pillow fight I suppose...

Most people know that we've had Caglespats on this board about what can and can't be posted. In reality, none of us are MB monitors and should refrain from those kinds of posts... How Molly looks at things is "Would this post be okay posted on someone else's board?" and goes from there. Yes we get silly sometimes but you know, I think that's what makes this such a wonderful place to visit.

When I first started coming here over a year ago, the senior Cagleheads posted a lot more but so many new people have joined since then. The MB has evolved much like Cagle Island has and we ARE a happy little family. I welcome EVERYONE but encourage all to accept others into the group. I don't like someone feeling like an outsider. Sometimes people don't understand what a post has to do with Chris or how it could possibly relate. Not everything on here is going to be 100% Chris related. Just the fact that we all know each other thru Chris music is related to Chris. Our personalities show up on this board and I would hate to have to walk on glass and not be able to be my usual silly self. I LOVE making people laugh. I think sometimes you all enjoy that too. Yes, I can get TOTALLY WACKY, but that's cuz I need it at that moment in my life or someone else on here needs it.

I apologize for the length of this post but I guess I had a lot to say. When I read a post, I try to keep an open mind as what the intention of the post is. Sometimes I'll just click the back button and roll my eyes. Other times I'll post a reply, depending how much time I have and whether or not I can add anything to the post. If I think someone is way out of line, I may tell them knowing that I may get reamed out by someone. LOL I frequently speak up for others... I'm not trying to cause trouble, just trying to keep the peace. I HATE for anyone to be mad at me. It hurts me deeply. So let's not separate ourselves into insiders and outsiders. Karen, feel free to join in our silliness if you like and anyone else too for that matter! I welcome all with open arms. CHRIS CAGLE ROCKS da LEEZARD BOAT!

As another FYI, the mini-mes were created to go on concerts with other Cagleheads when we are not able to go ourselves. My mini-me goes to LOTS of concerts since I've never been to any! HEE HEE!!!

Not trying to start anything here, but I don't think anyone was trying to be mean. Yes, it might have been an inside joke or something but I really believe it was misinterpreted. We all are sensitive to inappropriate or out-of-line comments but I truly don't think that was what was meant here. :)

I know I've said things before that have been taken the wrong way... so I do my best to word things carefully. We need to look at a post from all angles though, not just the bad angles. Give someone the benefit of the doubt... All right everyone, I'm kissing and making up for ya'll. HEE HEE Caglesmacks! LOL
