ok gang, we need your thought and prayers. In about August of last year our hospital here in my town closed up, leaving our town of about 8000 without care. The closest hospital is 6 miles away and according to the news that was just on. That hospital is closing too!!! It's last day is May 21st. Now this leaves our county that we live in without a hospital at all. The closest now will be 12 miles away. And from what I've heard there will only be 3 in the vicinity to help people. One is in Marion, one in Carbondale and one in Harrisburg. Marion is the one that is 12 miles away. And that is too far for people if they are in dire need of help and fast. I have a feeling that before it's all said and done there will be lawsuits coming out the ying yang from prople's families 'cuz they died from lack of close help. please pray that somehow someway they will find the funds to keep going. Lord knows that if it were anyone else's problem they'd find a way to fix it. I know this has nothing to do with Chris, but I think he'd feel the same way we do on this esp. since he has children to think about should someting ever happen. So I don't think he'd mind me posting this. I will apologize in advance if I have offended anyone in any way for posting this!! |
