Country musician Chris Cagle sang a moving rendition of the National Anthem at Thursday’s Pittsburgh Steelers versus Cleveland Browns game at Pittsburgh’s Heinz Field. The Steelers came out on top with a 14-3 victory over the Browns. Cagle wore quarterback Ben Roethlisberger’s #7 jersey and says,“Singing the anthem is always a blast and it comes with great perks, if you’re a sports nut like I am. But this particular game became super special to me. I was raised to be a true blue Cowboy fan, which requires a passionate disdain for the Steelers. Once you get around the city of Pittsburgh and the fans, you can’t help but fall in love with their passion for the Black and Gold. They treated me with a tremendous amount of kindness and I can truly say I am a fan of the city, the people, and their passion for football!”
